The editing journey - HFR
There are a lot of post-production tricks in this film that you might not notice at first glance. You may have felt that the film has an almost video game-like vibe to it. That doesn't come from anywhere. The entire project was shot in high framerate (HFR), 50 frames per second as opposed to the film's usual 25 frames per second. This effect has in recent years also made its way into film, you may know it from current cinema blockbusters such as Avatar or Hobbit.
This effect gives the film a completely different kind of fluidity and allows you to perceive the speed of the car in a radically different way.
HFR - HIGH FRAME RATE
The Love for Deatils - 3D Workflow
To maintain the secrecy of the not yet released car, the previous model was shot as a stand in car.
In a complex 3D workflow, the car was replaced by the Chiron pur sport in every shot and every frame.
A major unique feature of the film is also the use of 16mm film stock. All the more remarkable that the 3D world naturally meets the analog images.
